The purpose of the steering technique trainer is to prepare trainees for driving in a driving school car. It is very difficult to practice taxiing on a car. Steering while stationary takes a lot of effort and is dangerous when the student is moving. A classroom equipped with table-top steering simulators is a good place to practise steering techniques on a vehicle.
