Characteristics and description
This stand allows to study the device and the principle of action of the airbag and seat belt. The filling of the airbag is done with the help of a compressor, the action of which is controlled on the panel. The safety-belt tensioner has a swivel unit which can be used to monitor the work of the tensioner when in different positions. On the central part of the panel there is a diagram of the location of the main elements of the security system, the LEDs show the workflow of the security system. The stand is equipped with a safety system for different types of impact - frontal, diagonal and lateral. With the help of LEDs you can observe the work of the security system. The Fault Entry Unit allows you to examine the behaviour of the safety system when the following faults occur:
1. Breaking of the circuit of the impact sensor
2. Driver’s airbag malfunction
3. Passenger airbag malfunction
4. Short circuit of the impact sensor
