Description, purpose, way of operation
The simulator is intended for driving schools that train drivers of vehicles of category "B". It is also possible to use it tutoring drivers courses in general and secondary vocational education institutions (motor transport colleges, lyceums).
The machine has been developed in accordance with the Model Training Program for Drivers of Vehicles of category "B", meets the requirements of fire and electrical safety, as well as sanitary and health regulations.
The machine allows you to:
Develop basic motoric driving skills for a typical "B" category vehicle;
Study general principles of "B"vehicle driving under different weather conditions and time of the day;
Study the rules of the road in practice without risk and depreciation costs associated with the operation of a real training car, maintenance costs and petrol, oil and lubricants;
Prepare for the first stage of the practical "B" test (at the motordrome): a closed-circuit test course with consecutive test runs;
to get prepared for the second stage of the practical examination for getting the license for the category "B"(in the city): traffic is carried out arbitrarily on all busy streets and courtyards of the virtual city, not strictly along certain test routes;To automatically record errors of students and to keep statistical results of training and examination examinations in a personalized database.
The device of the simulator provides a standard layout of the driver’s workplace and the location of the "B" category vehicle’s control .The Machine is equipped with a system of three large 24" LCD displays, which gives a realistic view of the panoramic view with a view angle of 180 degrees from the driver's seat, eliminating the invisible sector of the road in the side mirrors.
The sound box is provided by an acoustic system, integrated into the body of the autocoranger.
The simulator is equipped with a local-network connection system, which allows to connect all simulators of this model to a local network for joint passing of training or examination trips in a single virtual space.
A keyboard is included which allows the instructor to control the program menu of the auto-starter and during exercise to set the following malfunctions of the vehicle: failure of the steering booster,
brake system failure,
increase of the temperature of the cooling liquid,
oil pressure drop in the engine,
alternator fault,
no fuel,
wheel puncture,

a function of changing the viewing angle ("rotating the head" of a virtual driver), which allows to control the maximum space around the vehicle;

choice of weather conditions (rain, snow, fog, bright sun) and time of day for passing the entrance;
presence of pedestrians on the streets of virtual city, which are full-fledged participants of traffic: walk on sidewalks and cross the passage part;
accumulation of precipitations on the windscreen when the glass-glasses are switched off (cleaning of the windscreen is carried out by the inclusion of window wiper);
gear selection mechanism: do not switch without the clutch pedal;
